SUMMARY:Flagships Hour @ European Hydrogen Week
DESCRIPTION:The FLAGSHIPS project will take zero-emission waterborne transport to an entirely new level by deploying two commercially operated hydrogen fuel cell vessels. \n\n\n\nLaunched in February 2024\, Future Proof Shipping’s H2Barge2 (1\,2 MW) is the first demo vessel of the Flagships project. The 109\,8-meter-long container cargo vessel operates the 240 kilometer long route between Rotterdam (NL) and Duisburg (DE) on the Rhine. \n\n\n\nThe second demo vessel\, Zulu 06 (400 kW)\, will operate the river Seine in Paris for Sogestran starting in December 2024. Both vessels will use compressed clean hydrogen as fuel\, together with PEM fuel cell technology. \n\n\n\nEager to hear more?
